Anca romance route
For the complete quest-by-quest route, see Anca complete questline walkthrough.
Anca is the human herbalist from Laslea. Her romance starts in the prologue and remains compatible with Lacra and Crake in the same playthrough.
Quest order
- Withering Away — help gather medicine for Esme.
- Page-Turner — stay with Anca when the optional reading scene appears; it costs one time segment.
- Echoes of Silenced Bells — continue her witchcraft and relationship thread. Either solution to the notes keeps the romance available.
- Stronger Than Achilles — at the blood pillar, sacrifice Coen’s hand when prompted, then choose “I’d do anything for you” and “I love you.”
- At the inn commitment scene, choose the intimate answer rather than the friendship-only response.
Timing and fail states
Prologue quests disappear after the final sequence, so finish Withering Away and Page-Turner before Sacred Covenant. Keep saves before Stronger Than Achilles and the inn scene. Anca’s death or a missed time-limited personal quest ends the route; normal Court Activities do not.
Endgame and multi-romance
Anca can appear in the epilogue when her personal chain is complete. You do not have to reject Lacra or Crake, but keep a pre-finale save before A Deal with the Devil to test different ending allies.
