Should you burn Leonica's notes?
Short answer: Burning the notes is the safer Anca route if you do not want further pacts. Letting Anca use them also succeeds, but can affect later Anca choices.
Where the choice appears
This is the final choice in Echoes of Silenced Bells, after Leonica is defeated at St. Tyna's Convent. The earlier dialogue options (“This won't end well” and “Absolutely fucking not”) lead to the same final prompt.
| Choice | Immediate result | Later consequence | | --- | --- | --- | | Burn the notes | Anca is briefly upset; the nuns remain zombified | Anca does not make the additional devil pacts described by the source walkthrough | | Let Anca try to cure the nuns | The cure succeeds | The pact can matter in later Stronger Than Achilles decisions |
Neither choice blocks Between the Words, Anca's romance, or the rest of her questline. Keep a save before the final prompt if you want both versions of the convent outcome.
Timing: Follow the hourglass shown in the current journal; no fixed aggregate cost is published by the sources.
