Should You Invite Ambrus in? Choice and Consequences Guide

Compare inviting Ambrus or refusing him, including the immediate result, later consequence, and recommended choice.

BLOODDAWN

Short answer: Invite Ambrus if you want his extra commentary and possible help in the final boss fight. Refuse him if you prefer to send him to Anachora. The recommended choice is Invite Ambrus, because the choice does not remove Scarlet Shield, Corruption, or vampiric ability access.

Invite Ambrus or refuse him?

| Choice | Immediate result | Later consequence | Recommendation | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Invite Ambrus | Ambrus remains as a voice that comments on choices and combat. | He can help during the final boss, although the encounter can also turn him against Coen. | Recommended for extra dialogue and the possible assist. | | Do not invite Ambrus | Ambrus is sent to Anachora. | You lose his ongoing commentary and possible final-boss presence. | Choose this for role-play or if you want him punished. |

The prompt appears after drinking Ambrus's Vrakhir blood. Both choices preserve Scarlet Shield because that ability comes from drinking his blood, not from the invitation. The invitation also does not change Corruption or access to vampiric powers.

Save before the post-duel prompt if you want to compare the final-battle presence. This invitation alone does not create a separate ending.
