All eight villages and settlements
There are 8 listed villages and settlements in Vale Sangora. The first seven become accessible after the prologue; Uriash Village is hidden and requires A Friend Like This → Song of the Mountain. Visiting all eight is associated with the Tour Guide Training achievement.

Fast travel and route planning
After the prologue, use the three-white-house village marker described by the location source to distinguish settlements from ordinary houses. Activate each Shrine you pass, then use the resulting network to reduce backtracking. Shapeshift and Mercurial Fervor are useful movement options, but exact travel time and route costs should be read from the current game build.
Uriash is the exception: start A Friend Like This in the north-east edge of Svartrau City, complete the follow-up Song of the Mountain, and only then follow the quest route west. If a location name or regional boundary is not explicitly confirmed, this page labels it accordingly rather than guessing.
